Introduction

Seeing something simple executed so well and beautifully always pleases me. Furnish Master offers more than meets the eye at first glance. When planning a room, you can visualize it here directly, enter the room’s dimensions, place the windows and doors in their positions, and then refurnish and restyle the room to your liking. Opening an office? No problem either – set the dimensions, windows, and doors, and you’re good to go.

The range of items available is extensive and sufficient; you can also determine the color of individual materials as well as the wall color. You can even choose the materials for objects and rooms, whether it’s wood, metal, etc. Unreal Engine 5 provides very lifelike lighting, adding a touch of realism.

Furnish Master is a relaxing game about furnishing and decorating rooms, apartments, commercial properties, and even outdoor areas! Realize your design dreams! Add it to your wishlist now! Releasing in Full Release on February 20, 2024, and is also available as a Demo.

Gameplay Overview

The last game I played similar to this was Sims 3, and to be honest, the real fun of the game was furnishing and decorating rooms, everything else felt like work. Furnish Master offers just that fun part of gameplay, but on Unreal Engine 5, without life management. The focus here is on creating rooms to your own dimensions, furnishing them, and then decorating.

From the door to the pen, everything can be placed exactly where you want it. Every item’s color and/or material texture is customizable. Not to forget, light reflects differently on metal than on wood. Everything is rotatable and scalable, and there is a story mode which I couldn’t test in the demo version, so I am going to quote Alexander Blintsov, the developer, here:

Story mode has a town filled with places players can buy and furnish! By investing in properties and earning money to buy more places and furniture and grow their way to a dream mansion.

Graphics and Audio

I like the isometric graphics; it’s realistic enough to be visually pleasing while still feeling playful and not like sitting in a technical drawing program. The light and shadows are amazing, Unreal Engine 5 at its best.

The music does what it should, nicely relaxed in the background. It is not intrusive or abrupt, and the sound effects seem very natural.

User Experience

The UI delivers exactly what one wants to see – only the essentials, which is the focus here. The selection window is scalable as desired and is kept minimalistic on the left side.

The controls are quite intuitive; I never had to wonder, “where is the button for this.”

Personal Experience and Opinion

Furnish Master allows one to do exactly what is fun in such games and tedious in real life. The joy of furnishing and decorating rooms, apartments, and offices is there, thanks to Alexander Blintsov. It relaxed me, and I was actually immersed. From what I have seen in the demo version, I can definitely recommend it and you can try the Demo first.
